The Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Mr Buti Manamela, will visit the South African National Space Agency (SANSA) in Hermanus on 23 February for a Space Day.
He will be joined by a group of local learners from Zwelihle Primary School to participate in hands-on science actives. The Space Day activities form part of SANSA’s ongoing efforts to make young people excited about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
The Space Day will be held at the SANSA science centre in Hermanus, which is used to encourage learning and a deeper understanding of STEM subjects.
