Background

The DSI and its partners (EC Department of Human Settlements, Ndlambe Local Municipality, Nelson Mandela University and Potsdam University) have implemented an off-grid green village demonstration as a climate change adaptation and mitigation flagship project. The village demonstrates the potential of small-scale off-grid settlements.
