Marine and Coastal Management

Through the provision of appropriate scientific liaison, logistical, administrative and personnel management, the Branch: Marine and Coastal Management advises the Minister and the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism on the development and conservation of marine and coastal resources to ensure the sustainable utilisation of such resources, as well as to maintain marine ecosystem integrity and quality.
