The objective of the exhibition is to create an international marketplace for innovation, science and technology (IST) in the context of long-term sustainability; to showcase and offer products, projects, services and solutions in the areas of IST; to focus on IST solutions for the developing world; to promote IST partnerships for global sustainable development; to provide networking opportunities; and to enable IST experts from across the globe to identify joint objectives, activities and initiatives. More than this, the fair is a valuable networking opportunity. The Innovation, Science and Technology Fair will be officially opened on 1 November 2004, at a banquet at which international delegates will be guests of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
