DST participates in Gauteng Nepad Summit

The African Cooperation Unit of the Department of Science and Technology will be participating in the upcoming Gauteng Nepad Summit, on 3-5 March 2009.

Taking place at the Sandton Convention Centre, the Nepad Summit and its integral "African Trade & Investment Expo 2009" (ATIEX) has been organised by the Gauteng Economic Development Agency (GEDA), to promote trade and investment in Africa.

In a breakaway session themed “Regional Integration in Science Technology and Innovation”, the DST will provide a unique platform for participants to interact with policy markers, leaders in academia and agencies involved in economic development in Africa.
