Launch of South Africa’s SumbandilaSat in Russia is imminent

South Africa’s next satellite, SumbandilaSat, is scheduled to be exported to Russia on 4 June 2009, arriving in Moscow on 10 June 2009.

Thereafter it will be shipped to Baikanour on 17 June 2009 for integration onto the Soyuz launch vehicle. The launch window will be between July and August 2009.
