  • Commissariat G��al du Plan (France) - The Commissariat G��al du Plan operates under the authority of the Prime Minister. Its mandate is to inform public policy-making and to strengthen the cohesion of the State and the coherence of its action through the exercise of three functions: concertation, forecasting and assessment.
  • CORDIS - Community Research and Development Information Service. As an integral part of the European Commission's INNOVATION Programme, CORDIS provides information on a vast range of research, development and innovation activities undertaken on a European level.
  • Danish DTI - Danish Technological Institute
  • Energy Research & Development: Global Trends in Policy and Investment - Examines trends in worldwide energy R&D and the adequacy of R&D policy and investments in terms of future energy challenges.
  • European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research - International centre for social research, policy, information and training, intergovernmental organisation affiliated to the United Nations.
  • European Science Foundation - Acting as a catalyst for the development of science by bringing together leading scientists and research funding agencies to debate, plan and implement pan-European initiatives.
  • European Union - EUROPA offers information on the European Union's goals and policies. It is a common endeavor of the EU's institutions, run by the European Commission.

  • Joint homepage of the UK Research Councils - The UK Research Councils are established under Royal Charter to fulfil the objectives set out by Government in the White Paper Realising our Potential ( May 1993). Statutory control of the Councils is exercised by the Department of Trade and Industry, supported by the Director-General of Research Councils, within the Office of Science and Technology.

  • National Policy Association (NPA) - NPA brings together business, labour, and other US and international leaders to identify solutions to emerging economic and social challenges.
  • National Science Foundation - The NSF is an independent US government agency responsible for promoting science and engineering through programs that invest over $3,3 billion per year in almost 20 000 research and education projects in science and engineering.
  • Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) - NSERC is a separate employer of the Government of Canada, reporting to Parliament through the Minister of Industry. It is governed by a Council of 22 members selected from the private and public sectors and the universities.

  • Technology Administration - The US Commerce Department's Technology Administration is the premier agency working in partnership with the private sector to promote US industry's technological competitiveness.
  • The Canadian Advisory Council on Science & Technology - The Council is a cornerstone of the government's new science and technology strategy, Science and Technology for the New Century. It provides the Prime Minister with expert, non-partisan advice on national science and technology goals and policies and their application to the Canadian economy. Specifically, the Council is mandated to review the nation's performance in science and technology, identify emerging issues and advise on a forward-looking agenda.
