The Minister of Science and Technology, Naledi Pandor, will deliver a keynote address at the Technology Top 100 Programme Awards Ceremony in Johannesburg this evening.

 

The TT100 awards is an initiative of the Da Vinci Institute of Technology Management, for which the Department of Science and Technology is the main sponsor.

 

Launched in 1991, the awards have become an effective vehicle for achieving growth and innovation advancement in the country, while raising awareness of the critical need for South African companies to embrace the management of technology, innovation and people in a sustainable manner.

 

The programme is focused on identifying South African role models – users or developers of technology – who have been able to take their organisations to new levels of competitiveness through innovation, tenacity and a passionate belief in people.
